For our fourth Artist Edition, Marlos E’van collaborated with Burnaway to create Sweet Lilly-Marie, a tee shirt inspired by a character in La Strada, one of E’van’s favorite films. Playing out in E’van’s practice of visual story-telling, Lilly-Marie represents family, innocence, adventure, love, triumph, and coming of age. Originally based on the character Gelsomina and a family member of E’van, Lilly-Marie first appeared in their painting “Zampo and Lilly-Marie on the road”; in this iteration, she is finding joy and peaceful moments during chaotic times.
Pre-order runs through April 17. Shirts are ONLY available via pre-order. Tee shirts will be hand-printed in Nashville and shipped late April.
